I always knew I wanted to be a mom, I just never knew how hard and how equally rewarding it would be. I LOVE these little kiddos (more than all the sand from all the beaches on every island in the entire world)…. ☺️Do you play this I love you more than… game also?
Honestly, I wouldn’t trade this time for anything in the world.

You guys it’s literally pure paradise mixed with Disney Magic! This was our first time with the kids…. a day where I didn’t stop smiling. We snorkelled, slid down the Pelican Plunge water slides, build sand castles, ate BBQ, and rode bicycles around the island (Beau on the back in a bike seat).

It was by FAR the best part of our Disney Cruise and always my favourite stop while I was working onboard. @disneycruiseline ♥️

Taking a Disney Cruise during Spring Break means extra amounts of kids (on a cruise line which many families already choose)… so the family beaches were packed! I should have taken a video for comparison. 😂 Honestly, the adults-only beach (Serenity Bay) was soooo quiet, and very peaceful.
We took turns and both Mark and I snuck over there for an hour each to ourselves. It was so nice! 🏖️
I ate an ice cream in the sand and went for a swim!

We spent some time before and after our Disney Cruise ~ to enjoy the beach, settle in, and to show our kids a place that we once spent a lot of time. Florida holds a special place for us and being here brought back all the feels (and smells - I have a thing about smells… they remind me of places)😆 and memories. Thinking of my kids having their own special memories from their first trip to Florida makes me happy too! ☀️ #sunshinestate

1. Dania Pointe where we stayed the night after the cruise and met friends for Teppanaki dinner.
2. Kids first experience at Build A Bear - because they had a Stitch for Beau. ♥️
3. Walking along the A1A and across to the beach! 🌊
4. That elevator to the rooftop pool we loved! 👙
5. After eating fajitas for lunch ~ great mural at Dania.
6. The rooftop pool where we spent hours on end! ☀️
7. Watching the trucks on the highway from room near airport. 🚛 ✈️

The clutter must be gone so the surfaces can be cleaned! Every few weeks before the pro cleaners arrive I run around the house like a mad woman clearing things from counters and floors, putting away clothes and random items left… well, everywhere!
The team at @merrymaidssurrey_fv does such a great job deep cleaning, and I’m sure they’re great at “tidying” too, but I just can’t help myself doing this every time.

With all 3 of our kids we always took advantage of

With all 3 of our kids we always took advantage of the “infant on lap” policy ~ we saved the price of a ticket - sure, but I won’t lie and say we didn’t struggle. In December we flew to Hawaii round trip and our “almost 2 year old” ran laps around us on the plane. We were constantly trying to entertain him and hold him still on our laps. He didn’t sleep… It was one of the LONGEST flights ever!

This time we brought his car seat and Here’s why! 👇

1) it’s not only the safest option for while on the airplane, but was also so helpful to have at our destination. We didn’t need to worry about it getting lost or damaged in the cargo.
2) he was comfortable and happy. He didn’t complain the entire 8 hour plane ride. He knew he was in travel mode and he’s used to his car seat… so it just worked.
3) he slept - for a good while, and mama and dada had a break too! I can’t imagine him staying in just a seat belt.
4) lastly, we bought a car seat trolley which we attached our @clekinc foonf and it doubled as a stroller in the airport!

Game changer. 👏
