Grace’s Nursery
Mark and I decided to wait to find out what we were having, and one of my constant thoughts was the nursery. Waiting to decorate it, holding off buying anything until we knew…. it was actually kind of excrutiating for me, as I’m usually such a planner! I had a vision for the room whether we were having a boy or a girl. If we had another boy, I knew I wanted his room to have modern furniture, a soft white rug, and lots of green. I was looking for wall decor and a large plant of some palm or cactus variety. In the case of a girl, I wanted the same modern feel and white rug, but I wanted bold florals and LOTS of pink! The first pieces I bought were the yellow rocking chair, white mirror, and the dresser from Structube. Since Hudson has a white rocker and white furniture, I wanted to go darker for this baby’s room. When I found this Babyletto crib online at Buy Buy Baby, I knew it would be the perfect match!
Buy Buy Baby has been my go-to for so many baby necessities, and I find their online shopping to be easy and hassle-free! They also have even more choices online then in the store, so while shopping in the store, if I was looking for something in particular… they would help me order it! I know I’ve said this before, but the staff there are incredible!I found Swingy Nest by chance while cruising Instagram looking at Baby things. I loved how its handmade and can be used from baby age (strong enough to hold their head up) to a toddler age of 3 or 4. It’s adorable and came all the way from Lithuania!I found these adorable pink and gold 12 x 16 nursery prints on Etsy. I ordered the pdf files and then had them professionally printed. The gold frames are from Ikea! You really can’t go wrong with Ikea frames. This beautiful hanging mobile was given to my by my friend Natalie, and made by her sister-in-law Chelsea! She makes beautiful one of a kind pieces at Pretty Earth. This shelf was found at Homesense and I loved it’s shape! I’m using it to display special pieces and cards given to Baby Grace. The gold tripod lamp was bought from Wayfair, and the book shelf and side table are both from Ikea. The beautiful pink curtains were another good find from Homesense! The cozy white rug was bought at Costco! Displaying some of our favourite books above the rocking chair is something I have done in both Hudson’s and Grace’s room! I’m so excited that her nursery is done! It will grow with her as she grows and can be easily turned into a little girls room as well.Message me or leave a comment if you have any questions!
