Family Summer Stay at the Pan Pacific Whistler

Family Summer Stay at the Pan Pacific Whistler
We were invited guests of the Pan Pacific Whistler MountainsideAll thoughts, expressions, and opinions are my own.

Whistler is one of my favourite local getaways, and trust me when I say, the location of the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside is hard to beat!  I now know why they claim to have #whistlersbestaddress as it’s nestled in between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains in the heart of the village. It’s not far to stroll to upper village, and shops and world class restaurants are also seconds away!

This trip was extra wonderful because we invited the grandparents, and the six of us enjoyed Whistler as a family of 6! We stayed in a two bedroom mountain-view suite and there was plenty of room.  We spent a lot of time at the pool, and sitting on the balcony watching the mountain bikers and the hustle and bustle of the village below.

The kids loved the pool (I loved that it was salt water). We were there every single day! The hotel provided kids size robes which was so convenient for travel down to the pool, and back up to the suite (in comfort and style).  I loved them so much, I purchased them to take home with us!

There’s also two outdoor hot tubs to soothe sore muscles after a day of skiing/boarding, hiking, or shopping! Every suite has a private balcony and in-room fireplace which makes for the coziest stay any time of year.

On our first night, once the kids were in bed, Mark and I headed out for a dinner date followed by Vallea Lumina! It was such a cool experience, bringing the forrest to life with lights and music in a multi-media storytelling adventure. Neither of us have ever experienced anything like it.

If you’re in Whistler and looking for a great restaurant in the village. Definitely check out Carambas – the pizza and pasta was delicious! The patio was bustling and the open concept kitchen was great to see, as the chef’s prepared the pizzas in their wood burning pizza oven! I had the homemade pesto tagliatelle!

We loved our morning strolls in the village, taking the kids to the park near the Olympic Rings and watching them run around. Whistler is a great place for kids. There are adventures everywhere you look!

Scandinave Spa Whistler

Mark and I were so lucky to sneak away to the Scandinave Spa for a few hours of relaxation while the kids played at the hotel pool with grandma and grandpa!  The spa is pure relaxation, the best opportunity to unplug and recharge! (I snapped this pic before it officially opened as there are no phones or cameras allowed).

I can’t wait to come back to the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside and experience this resort in the winter. The snow on the mountains, the cozy nights by the fire, hot chocolate walking thru the village.  I LOVE Whistler in the Summer, but it is truly something special in the Winter.  This hotel definitely lived up to its claim of Whistler’s Best Address , and the whole family had so much fun!

XO, Candice

Spread the love
