Our Peppa Pig themed Birthday!

Our Peppa Pig themed Birthday!

For Hudson’s 2nd Birthday, I knew for quite a while that I wanted to give him a “Peppa Pig” themed Birthday.  Peppa Pig has been his favorite for quite a while, and although he’s starting to love other books and shows more, Peppa Pig is still going strong!  The problem is, I left it pretty much to the last minute, but the party still managed to come together quite nicely.Peppa Pig themed Birthday PartyI couldn’t decide between cake or cupcakes, so I decided to have both!  I made the cupcakes and icing, and ordered the cake from Safeway.  They didn’t have any Peppa themed cakes, so I asked for a very plain white outside with multi-color sprinkles.  I decorated it by placing a few of his little Peppa Pig figurines on top!Peppa Pig themed Birthday CakeIt was nice to have two sizes of cupcakes.  Big ones for the adults, and teeny ones for the toddlers!  I made buttercream icing with cream cheese so it was extra delicious!kids Peppa Pig birthday partyI was able to find all the Peppa Pig party cups, plates, and napkins at “Party City”.  I also ordered the Balloons from them, and picked them up the morning of the party.  The balloons lasted almost 2 weeks!Peppa Pig themed Birthday PartyHudson’s Birthday Party fell on St. Patrick’s Day, so we added a touch of green here and there.  It was cute as some of the kids, (party guests) came dressed in all green to celebrate the occasion.happy birthdayBecause we didn’t have a ton of Peppa Pig party decorations, I placed a few of his toys and books around the cake/dessert table.  I also cut these Peppa cardboard figurines out of a coloring activity book “Mega Color” found at our local Dollar Store. The cupcake toppers I ordered off of Amazon.  They were the only ones that would be delivered by PRIME and in time for the party! I think they were about $16.00 😉How to create a Peppa Pig themed Birthday PartyThe Peppa party hats were one of my favorite things!  I also found these at Party City, but saw them online on Amazon as well.DIY Peppa pig partyThe goody (loot) bags were decorated with Peppa Stickers on the tags and filled with little books, toys, and treats! It’s safe to say Hudson, his little friends, and the adults had a great time!  Oh, and we ate pizza, just like Peppa and her friends always do at their birthday parties!peppa pig DIY goody bagsHow to create a Peppa Pig themed Birthday Party
