Hudson’s 2 year update!

Hudson’s 2 year update!

It’s been a while since I posted an update on this little guy!  He sure is becoming quite the little man with a BIG personality! Every day he is learning new things, and I feel like the proudest mama there is!  He’s been going to swimming lessons and soccer practice, and ultimately just growing up WAY too fast!

TWO balloonWe celebrated his second birthday surrounded by family and friends!  He had so much fun and was the perfect party host! Catch a glimpse into his Peppa Pig Themed Birthday Party here!two year updateRight now he’s really into dinosaurs and trucks.  He can name just about every dinosaur and even sings about them sometimes.  He loves playing with his trucks and diggers and races them around his playroom.  He also loves his farm animals and puzzles!toddler snacksHis favourite show is Sesame Street, which I don’t mind him watching here and there because he learns so much!  He calls it “Cookie Elmo”.  His favourite snacks lately are red or yellow peppers, blueberries, and crackers with peanut butter.  He is sometimes picky around dinner time, and if all else fails – he will never turn down a fruit/veggie smoothie!

booksWe still read books on the daily and he often finishes my sentence.  He knows just about every word, and if he doesn’t, he can repeat it after me.  He can also count to 10, and almost to 20!  We count the stairs every time we go up and down, so he’s getting lots of practice : )

love love loveHudson is still the best little sleeper and goes down at 7pm each night, usually waking around 7am.  He sleeps with his favourite penguin, lamb, and giraffe, and usually brings them downstairs in the morning!  He is still napping 2-3 hours a day, and rarely has trouble going down.

hatley jammiesWe are keeping so busy with swimming lessons twice a week, and soccer practice every Wednesday night.  He loves both and just last week he progressed to the next swim level – where he is alone with the instructor (mama and dada watching at the sideline).  He has done exceptionally well!easterHe loves to go to the park and play outside.  The weather has been amazing lately, so we are getting out at least once a day.  With his little brother or sister’s arrival coming any day now, we are doing our best to prepare him and make the transition as smooth as possible.hudsonHe is going to make the best big brother!  Hudson is one “easy going” toddler (most of the time).  He is also just the most lovable little guy, giving cuddles and kisses all the time.  But… he is also a smarty pants.  Lately when I say “Goodnight Hudson, I Love you”, he replies to me with a cheeky grin on his face and says “bye bye”.

Spread the love
