Baby Grace’s 4 month update!
I planned to blog a baby update more often (every month was my aim), but mom life has kept me so busy, and a broken laptop didn’t help much either! Time is flying by and before I knew it, Grace is 4 months old! Our sweet little turnip is no longer a newborn, and it’s definitely bittersweet!
First off – I cant believe I have a 4 month old baby. The newborn stage goes by WAY TOO QUICKLY! Grace is an absolute joy, and we feel so beyond blessed to have her part of our family!
Teething started a few weeks ago and has been in full effect lately. She wants to chew on everything! Other than that she is a very happy little babe. Thank goodness the long fussy periods that haunted us daily up until 3 months are over! I am so glad she grew out of that phase, as it wasn’t easy!
She still LOVES to be held and carried. She would happily be stuck to my hip all day long if she could. She likes to face outward in the carrier and often falls asleep! 
Grace loves her swing that’s in my office, and I’ve been leaving her soundly sleeping as she sways, although I won’t allow his much longer as we are transitioning to naps in the crib! With Hudson we developed a pretty good routine and had him sleeping thru the night with scheduled naps at 6 months.
Grace is a spitting image of her big brother as a baby. People who know them both say they could have been twins. It’s so sweet to see him playing with her and calling her “beautiful baby sister”. They share such a special bond already!
Baby Grace is still exclusively breast-fed and demands milk often during the day and a couple times in the night. She’s 14 pounds 11 ounces and in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. Perfectly proportioned! 😉
She is such a HAM! Loves to giggle and make smile, and she’s so social. I’ve brought her with me to a couple events and she worked the room like she was the guest on honor! Haha!
We cannot wait to watch her grow into a beautiful little girl, but not too quickly… Time is a thief and I just want to cherish all the baby cuddles while I can. Happy 4 months Gracie!
