10 Christmas Gift Ideas for Children 3 and Under!
This post is in partnership with buybuy BABY, a brand I love. As always all opinions are my own.
Christmas Shopping for little people is fun, but it can also be overwhelming, as there’s a lot out of choices out there! Last week I took my kiddos to our local buybuy BABY and we tested out some of the most popular books, toys, and apparel on their shelves. They always stock our best loved books, seasonal sleep wear, and the hottest infant and toddler toys! I’ve compiled a list of our favourite gift items that are sure to put a smile on your little one this Christmas!
10 Gift Ideas for kids 3 and under
1. Flora the Animated Bunny by GUND.
This adorable plush toy will bring so much joy to your little one’s world. Grace was awestruck and loved playing a game of Peek-A-Boo by pressing her left foot! Flora’s ears flap back and forth while she sings the song “Do Your Ears Hang Low”
Hudson is a huge fan of the Pink Fong phenomenon “Baby Shark”. He ran straight for this display when we stepped into the store! This Baby Shark Melody Pad brings sing-along fun to playtime. Press the LED lighted buttons to hear one of 16 shark-themed songs.
3. “If you Happen To Have a Dinosaur” Book
One of Hudson’s favourite new books! Author Linda Bailey gives little ones lots of ideas for what to do with their dinosaur. From the good and bad things dinosaurs are good for, this adorable book is full of vivid illustrations and imagination.
4. “Where’s The…” Books by Ingela P. Arhennius
These books are loved by both my toddler and infant. They are easy to read hard-covers with cute felt flaps. These board books are interactive and help your baby get better at searching and finding. “Where’s the Unicorn” was one of Grace’s first books!
5. Baby Coats and Seasonal Clothing
I love this sweet little faux fur trimmed coat by Baby Bgosh! They also have the cutest pink leather jacket for baby girls! Outerwear and holiday apparel is well stocked and what little one doesn’t love a new outfit wrapped under the tree!? 🙂
6. Vtech Go Go Smart Wheels Monster Truck Rally
Little boys just love trucks! This popular track features speed races and jump competitions, songs and melodies. This action-packed setup will provide hours of fun and excitement!
7. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Attachable Activity Caterpillar
Inspired by Eric Carle’s classic tale, This Very Hungry Caterpillar is a perfect sensory toy for home or “on the go”. The antenna contains a crinkle” sound and the dimensional ball contains beads that make a stimulating sound when spun!
8. Baby Einstein Magic Touch Piano
Both my kiddos loves this one! This lovely wooden based musical toy is infused with Magic Touch technology. With 2 modes of play, baby can create her own songs or start a series of melodies.
9. Burts Bees Sleepers and Toddler Pajamas
Both my littles stay snug and cozy in their soft organic cotton Burt’s Bees pyjamas from buybuy Baby. They have sweet holiday patterns, and both footed and two piece designs! Worn snug these make for the cutest Christmastime photos!
10. Baby Einstein Magic Touch Ukulele Wooden Musical Toy
This is definitely wrapped under our tree this year. With Hudson’s love for music, I couldn’t resist! The Magic Touch Ukulele encourages development of fine motor skills as baby strums along to 30+ melodies or creates their own solo hit. When baby strums, they’ll hear the sound of real chords… just like magic.
