Grace’s Sip & See

Grace’s Sip & See

We didn’t find out what we were having under Baby Grace was born, but let me tell you I was hoping and praying almost everyday for a baby girl.  I have such a close relationship with my mom and my grandmother, and I simply wanted to do all the “girly” things! Here we are 4 generations.three generationsWe were so blessed with sweet baby Grace that my mom and I wanted to throw a little party in her honor and invite all our family and friends to meet her for the first time!  The Sip and See took place when she was one month old!pinkMy mom’s friend made the adorable “onesie” cookies, which we also decided to give as party favours.  The majority of the party decor was provided by Coterie Party and we chose a sweet pink and gold theme.coterie partysip and seeWe had a ton of food (not shown) including mini quiche, mini croissants filled with egg salad, and tons of different fruits and cheeses.  To drink my mom made a pink punch using guava juice and sparkling water, and we also had plenty of rosé of course!sip and seeMy cousin Sarah, Aunt Lesley and grandmother all attended.  It’s so great to add another female to the family, as our family is mostly male on my mom’s side.  My grandmother guessed I was having a boy (she has 3 of her own), so it was fun to prove her wrong!sip and seeI loved having my friends over and sharing in the baby bliss!  The Coterie Party “Baby Shower” decor included these fun photo prop signs.sip and seebaby Gits a girl cakeThe Cake was bought from our local grocery store baker, and believe it or not it was one of the best cakes I have ever tried.  Grocery stores normally don’t make two-tiered cakes, but they did an amazing job!  It was delicious!sip and see girlEveryone loved the cake, and baby Grace loved being passed around (lol).  She actually slept a lot of the afternoon, in between posing for photos and taking a break here and there for a feed!sip and see girlsip and see girlsip and see girlsip and see girlBaby Grace was totally spoiled and received the most beautiful outfits.  Her closet is now full of the sweetest, most stylish little rompers, dresses, and pant suits!  We can’t wait to show them off!  Our Sip & See was tons of fun and I’m so thankful for everyone who came to celebrate our precious girl!pink shower cookiesThanks for stopping by!
